Thank you so very much for supporting our first annual Brew & Stew, a new Hope House event showcasing excellent Colorado craft beer and some of the best soups and stews in Denver.
Nearly 300 people showed up, exceeding our expectations! We raised almost $10,000 for our GED and College & Career Support programs, allowing us to empower even more teen moms this year who are working hard toward self-sufficiency.
All 20 Home brews that were submitted in our Home Brew competition were unique and delicious. The winner, selected from a panel of 5 industry judges, was the amazing Imperial Russian Stout!
A big thank you to our presenting sponsor, Metco Landscape, and a shout out to the following breweries for donating beer and and restaurants for donating the stew — this combination was a big hit!
Great Divide Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Co., AC Golden Brewing, Breckenridge Brewery, Renegade Brewery, Dry Dock Brewery, Boulder Beer, Kokopelli Brewing, Brewery Rickoli, and West Flanders.
The Sink, Austin’s American Grill, The Inventing Room, Cafe Options, Zoup!, Duck Soup, Trinity Grille, La Sandia, Blake Street Tavern, Prime Trailer Leasing, and Sweet Tomatoes.
And to everyone who donated a prize for our Hope House Raffle — thank you for making the evening even more fun!
