We are excited to announce that Hope House was named Outstanding Nonprofit Organization in Colorado at a beautiful ceremony at the State Capitol in downtown Denver.
"This award is dedicated to our amazing community of volunteers who are making a real difference in the lives of our young moms. We are on track to empower over 150 teen moms this year, which would not be possible without their extraordinary help," said Lisa Steven, Founder & Executive Director.
Hope House welcomes volunteers of all ages, with 245 volunteers donating over 8,300 hours of free service last year.
“One of our youngest volunteers hosted a lemonade stand to purchase toiletries for our teen moms, while Tom, a senior citizen in his 80s, shows up every week to deliver donated items,” said Jennifer Cerf, Volunteer Coordinator for Hope House. “From age 6 to 86, we love our volunteers!.”
