Cheri is a lovely Hope House teen mom who grew up quite alone. In fact, she was the only one in her 1st grade class who couldn’t find her seat because she had not attended Kindergarten and no one at home had ever taught her the alphabet, much less how to read own name.
This painful memory motivated Cheri to create a different destiny for her daughter Stella. Recognizing her need for support, Cheri looked for an organization to come along beside her – and found Hope House.
Today Cheri participates in several programs at Hope House where she is excelling, and she especially loves our Parenting classes.
Cheri is also doing a great job raising Stella. Although her daughter is only two-years-old, she already knows her ABC’s!
