Breaking Out of Poverty
Many of the teen moms served at Hope House grew up in generational poverty, which means they see and interact with the world differently than someone from middle class.
At Hope House we are committed to helping our teen moms become self-sufficient. This means helping them get ahead – requiring that we understand how they see the world and “speak their language.”
Check out this month’s blog post, featuring a video on how to help someone break out of generational poverty. This is a great way to better understand what happens at Hope House.
