Estephanie has built a beautiful life for herself and her daughter Aliah – but it hasn’t been easy.
Growing up in poverty, Estephanie found herself a teen mom, sleeping with her infant on a couch in a crowded mobile home. She had dropped out of high school and had no way to create the life she dreamed of for her baby girl.
And then she found Hope House.
As a member of our Residential Program, Estephanie earned her high school diploma through one of our online high school partners. She also completed our Parenting, Healthy Relationships, and Financial Literacy classes – as well as an internship at Head Start.
Estephanie’s last requirement to graduate from Hope House was to find full-time employment. With support from our College & Career Program, she soon found an administrative position at PC People.
We recently celebrated Estephanie’s graduation and are so proud of the hard work she has put in to change the future for both herself and Aliah!
