Hope House volunteer Duane Bruno recently led a 3-week Microsoft Office training course for the teen moms at Hope House. Duane started with the basics and then moved into more difficult tasks as the girls ramped up in knowledge and experience.
Hollie, a Hope House teen mom who is busy working and getting ready to start college this summer, took the Microsoft course:
I’m so thankful that these classes were offered. I found out that there was a lot of cool information that I didn’t know how to use. I’m so glad to be able to add ‘proficient in Excel’ to my resume!
Hope House is grateful for volunteers like Duane who are empowering our teen moms as they work toward self-sufficiency.
