Lake Arbor Automotive and Hands of the Carpenter, two long standing business partners of Hope House Colorado, came together to help provide and repair a donated Toyota Corolla for Mackenzie, one of our teen moms, for Mother’s Day! On Thursday, April 29th, Lake Arbor Auto hosted a Key Presentation for Mackenzie where the vehicle was unveiled and keys given to Mackenzie. At the end of the ceremony, she and her son Jayson (3) drove away in a nicely repaired vehicle. The Corolla now offers Mackenzie the ability to find childcare for her children, Jayson and Malaysia, and start looking for a full-time job she can commute to and from each day. This is a huge step forward for her on her path to self-sufficiency! Hope House is so proud of Mackenzie and the work she has put in to be rewarded with this generous donation.
