Maribel joined the Hope House staff in January 2025 as an early learning teacher. With a strong foundation in early childhood education and over five years of experience working with infants, toddlers and families, Maribel brings a compassionate and informed approach to supporting teen moms and their children. Her educational journey includes earning certifications in the Pyramid Plus Approach and Expanding Quality in Infant-Toddler Care, as well as being CPR and First Aid certified. As a former teen mom, she deeply understands the challenges and rewards of parenting at a young age. This personal experience inspires her passion for working with teen moms, helping them navigate their unique journeys, and providing the tools and resources they need to succeed. Throughout her career, Maribel has worked in various roles, including assistant teacher, infant teacher and activities coordinator, gaining valuable skills in child behavior management, curriculum development and parent communication. She is also bilingual in Spanish, which allows her to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, Maribel enjoys painting, crafting and spending quality time with her children and grandchild.
