Amber joined the Hope House staff in March 2025. She has been in education for 25+ years. This includes working in school districts in many different forms, traditional centers and working in a Montessori setting for 13+ years. She received her Montessori certification in 2011 by completing her NAMC primary training. She has taken college courses in ELC, many other trainings and has over 20,000 clocked hours working with children. Amber is passionate about all the children in her care having the best possible learning experiences. Her hope is that each child walks away with a love for learning, and that she has helped prepare them for the next chapter of their life’s adventure. Her favorite thing about early learning is the independence and confidence a child gains through learning as well as watching the child grow in so many ways during their sensitive periods. She has a 17-year-old son who is her world. When he was young, she helped coach his basketball team and was also the team mom for his football team. When she is not at Hope House she can be found exploring the outdoors in her jeep, taking photographs and traveling for her son’s football games. Amber loves to spend time with her big family and her friends any chance she can.
