Angelica joined Hope House staff in December of 2025 as a lead teacher in the infant classroom. She is a Colorado native who attended Adams State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education (K-12) as well as Ceramics. Prior to Hope House, she worked as a K-12 substitute teacher for the Alamosa School District. She also worked as a substitute teacher for a Head Start Early Learning Center in Denver.
She enjoys working for Hope House because of their passion to come alongside and truly empower teen moms on their path to self-sufficiency, which perfectly pairs with the love of God. She takes the care of children seriously and believes that early childhood education is the most important time for the building blocks of a child’s healthy future to be formed.
When she is outside of the Hope House classroom, Angelica enjoys reading, roller skating, cooking something new, teaching children’s church and going to the zoo with her son.
