Ellen joined Hope House in 2026. Before that, she worked as an early childhood teacher for a teen parent program for Jeffco Public Schools where she supported young moms who were getting their high school diploma. She also worked as a registered behavioral technician at an autism clinic where she taught toddlers and preschoolers who had developmental disorders. She focused on goals that included language, fine motor and behavior using play therapy. She graduated from CU Boulder in 2019 with a degree in speech language and hearing sciences, allowing her to specialize in communication and developmental disorders. Ellen is also a mom to two beautiful little girls and finds watching them grow to be bittersweet. She wants to support moms on their journey so that they can thrive and love motherhood as much as she does. It really does take a village, and she is honored to be a part of this village.
